Last Panto in Little Grimley
Directed by Harry Sadler
“Last Panto in Little Grimley” by David Tristram is a sequel to “Last Tango in Little Grimley”, which Cobham Players successfully presented in 2005 as one of a trio of one-Act plays. This farcical comedy takes place on the stage of a village hall! The four characters comprise the dysfunctional committee of a failing amateur dramatic society that is desperately in need of a successful production. The Chairman’s solution is to put on a pantomime written by himself. In-fighting, slapstick, farce and mayhem are the predictable results! This is a fast-moving comedy that we are certain audiences will enjoy.
David Tristram is a much-performed English comic playwright who has published at least 24 plays, videos and a novel. Born in 1957, he founded the Flying Ducks Theatre Company in 1985 and his plays have been performed all round the world.
